Essay “BECOMING-WITH” in the "ROBIDA MAGAZINE” (ITALY) The essay “Becoming-With” Tīna D. wrote in collaboration with ceramic artist and cultural curator Ellie White (UK). It was published in the 9th issue of Robida, a multilingual magazine of contemporary culture, whose thematic focus was soil.

The essay intertwines personal reflections with layers of political ecology and decolonial thought, exploring how closer relationships between humans and clay can open up new ways of coexisting with other beings At the heart of the story is clay — regarded as a teacher — through which notions of the living and the non-living are re-evaluated. Clay is positioned as a body, an archive, and a conversational partner that reveals both authors’ relationships with care and unlearning.

Essay “Communal Practice” in “It’s Freezing in LA!” (UK)Together with spatial planner Annija Danenberga, Tīna and Annija explored the relationships between people and grasslands in Latvia — landscapes that are both biologically rich and culturally significant. The gathered insights were published in the independent climate magazine “It’s Freezing in LA!”, which highlights local perspectives within global environmental contexts.The text seeks answers to how intergenerational care can become part of habitat restoration. It connects personal experience with environmental ethics and policy, exploring ways to restore not only ecosystems but also the relationships between people and the landscape.
